My name is Amanda, I am a mother of two children aged 4 and 6 and I live in Loughborough (about 10 miles from Leicester or Nottingham). I am available for appointments Thursday to Saturday between 9:30am and 8:30pm. I offer appointments on Monday to Wednesday evenings depending upon my personal circumstances for that week. All of the treatments I offer are listed with a current price (updated and correct as from March 25th 2008) over the following pages. I am fully qualified in all treatments I offer and I have full insurance.

My house is very child friendly and I have no problem with you bringing children along when you have your appointment. Please bear in mind that if you come to me in the evening or during school holidays my children will be around. As with any kids they are always interested in new people and my daughter especially can talk for England (I have no idea where she gets it from!!!). During waxing appointments I do not allow them into the treatment room and I will try to book your appointment when my husband is around to keep them busy. In school holidays or at weekends I may need to bring my children along with me to appointments, I try to avoid this whenever possible but sometimes I just can't get a sitter. If this was the case I would make it clear when booking your appointment so that you are aware of the situation. If it was that I get left without a sitter at the last minute I would phone and offer an alternative appointment.

I am a fully qualified nail technician and can offer all types of nail extensions and overlays including gel, acrylic and Acrygel. I can include different decals such as gems, flowers etc to give you beautiful, unique nails that are sure to get you compliments, please ask to see examples of my nail art at the beginning of your appointment.

One of my favourite aspects of my job is makeup application and I have built up over 6 years of experience in the wedding trade. I can cater for all ages, skin types and nationalities and I am available throughout the year. I do get booked for July and August quite early on so dont leave it too late if you want me to do your wedding makeup.

Due to the ever increasing price of petrol and road tax etc I have had no choice but to change my travel prices. Effective of March 1st 2008 my prices will include my travel for the first 15 miles (30 mile round trip from my home), after this distance I will charge an additional 30pence per mile. If you have already booked a wedding with me for this year I will honour my previous travel costs as per your signed contract. If you are happy to come out to me at my home salon I will give you a 5% discount.
