Please note - I am a fully trained Nail Technician with diplomas covering each type of overlay. I only use high quality products from NSI that will not damage your nails or your health. None of my products contain MMA (a chemical often found in cheaper, imported nail products, which has been shown to have many side effects which are damaging to both your nails and your health), and all of my equipment is sanitised between customers. I am happy to advise on the type of nail which would best suit your lifestyle and requirements. "Party Tips" £17.50 - tips are added to your own nail to create extra length, they are then reinforced with a layer of resin. These are ideal if you want something to last for a short period of time such and need to be able to remove them easily. They will last upto 5 days and just need to be soaked in acetone to remove them. They can be painted but this has an additional charge of £5. Silk Extensions £25 - A very natural looking, thin overlay perfect for short term extensions such as weddings. They can last upto 2 weeks and can be removed at home using acetone. They are stronger and more durable than the party tips but are much easier to remove than the gel or acrylic overlays. Acrylic Extensions £32.50 - The most durable of the nail types, they are thinner than gel and provide a hard wearing nail extension. These are the best overlay if you prefer a longer nail extension or if you have a job that you use your hands a lot. I take a little longer to apply acryllics as I do not use electric drills, all of my filing is done by hand. Infills £20 for natural or £22.50 if you have a French Manicure or coloured gel. The natural nail will continue to grow and a gap will appear at the bottom of the overlay, this needs to be infilled to keep the nail in balance and prevent the overlay lifting. . Note - If you leave more than 3 weeks between infills the price will be increased due to the extra time and product taken to get the nails back into condition (£5 per extra 15 minutes). Nail extension removal £16.50 - false nails should be correctly removed - do not rip them off! It is the act of pulling them off which leaves the nail in poor condition, correct removal prevents this. The nail extensions are soaked off and then the natural nails are buffed. Cuticles are treated with a nourishing oil and hands are moisturised. Gel or Acrylic Natural Nail Overlay £20 on hands or £17.50 on toes (£35 for both). Add £2.50 if you require a French Manicure or coloured gel - If you find your own nails grow quickly but often break or are weak you can have them reinforced with an overlay. It is an excellent way of breaking the habit of nail biting as the overlay makes the nail thicker making it more difficult to bite. I have a wide range of colours and it is excellent on toes, especially for holidays. This price only includes the nail overlay but I can include a full manicure or pedicure for an extra £5 each. Nail Art - I charge between £1 and £5 extra depending on the finish you require. I can add freehand patterns using fine paint brushes to create simple but pretty designs or I also have coloured glitter, shells, gems, flowers and more that can be used to create stunning, individual nailart.
